1994 Evo--reversing the coil polarity hurt my ignition module??

Hot damn Max...it was a bad ground in the kill switch! I split the housing and saw that the ground wire was barely hanging on by a thread...heated up the factory solder and re-fused it and BING-BANG-BOOM! A couple little carb tweaks and the damn thing's humming againj!
