SERT Maps
Has anyone used hdmaps.com for their application specific download?
The site has a map for my application. They charge $60 for a single download.
My application is:
2007 Night Train
V&H Big Radius
No Air-Filter (Yet)
If anyone has used them, please chime in. If they havent and have a map for this application, please feel free to save me the $60.
Michael.

RE: SERT Maps
Honestly, I cannot see how they can charge 60 bucks for a map to use on a bike they have never seen, you can take 2 bikes with the same build and have the same person Dyno them to the samespecs and the maps will not be the same. I would only consider using them for a starter map and even then they are grossly overpriced.

RE: SERT Maps
I agree as well . . .
Get a basic starter map off the CD and data tune it just a bit.
If you do that I'm betting your alterations will be better than anything they ever sell you . . . .
Course - unless you are having problems now, with the exception of a standard fare setup from the dealer being lean, you shouldn't really need to alter things unless you change out the intake.
Dealers add on exhausts every day and never change the map/download.
