Default PV4 and gear selector

PV4 on a 22 Freewheeler
Installed today and everything went ok except my digital transmission gear selection disappeared on dash. RPMs are there put no gear selector. Any ideas to get it back?

Contact DynoJet. If purchased through Fuel Moto you may have a quicker response from them.

thanks, a search found away to fix this in the other tuners but not a PV4. Just a little pissed this is a known issue and there is still a problem on tuners being shipped.

There are a LOT of problems with that tuner. Be glad this is the only one you’ve faced (so far).

Be glad you didn’t buy a new 2023.5 CVO… they’re still selling those things with known problems too!

🤬 I just wanted something simple to tune a high flow filter and slip ons. Didn’t think I’d run into something like this. May sound petty, but I use the gear selection/RPM ALL the time.

You're going to need a Freewheeler specific tune. Contact FM or Dynojet. Unfortunately the Freewheelers and Trikes don't identify as a special model that needs a special tune, so it will let you use a standard touring or softail tune (model dependent).

I don't feel sorry for anyone having problems with a tuner that's been shipped with problems all along. Plenty of info here about it.
Suck it up, wait for a fix, or get a refund and buy a real tuner. Whining about it won't fix it.

Thanks for the useless information. Didn’t know asking about a tuner problem was whining. Wrong Forum?

FIXED! Lucas sent me a map for the Freewheeler. Gear selection back and it runs like never before.
