Nope,, You don't know how to test the battery. Measure the voltage across the battery while cranking!

Forgot to say the international battery that first video had was tested at autozone, they told me it was good but I'm not sure they know wtf they were doing? I was told I think it's good by them lol... and yea I would always test the voltage right off the battery tender. I'll use DMM to test after they sit for a bit and while it's cranking. Honestly wasn't sure what DMM was so glad someone said that

I'll get that voltage over lunch while cranking. Glad we cleared up that mistake. But also, wouldn't a new battery be good (unless I bought wrong one was closest thing that was near me)?

If the battery voltage is above 9.5 volts while cranking, check it at the starter. Connect to the ground on the starter body and at the solenoid terminal. Measure again.

The battery ground cable attaches to the tranny. Make sure it is tight.

on an m8 touring? I see 2 grounds on frame on either side of battery, but I don't remember seeing any ground connectors near transmission... unless it's on inside frame somewhere and I missed it. There's also the ground on the starter if that's what you mean near tranny...
