Poor mileage and running cold one Tmax

One more thing that I've not done yet.. Look at the AFR setting between my afr and the new FBW M8 map.. Notice the position of the up ramp and move it to the left some. I'd expect this will help but have not tried it..
IMO the left side section was something that the Zipper's guys cam up with to stop the cough. It's been around forever since the gen II systems. I think that the software guys for the Tmax, may have reduced the necessity of that section when they updated some of their tuning algorithms.
Also IMO the head temp vs afr adjustment does not need to be richened much if at all cold. With the motor cool the fuel don't burn that well and the residual O2 automagicly causes a rich fuel mixture.. The newer maps richen even less and they have 2 plugs to burn mixture..

I'll have to admit all my stuff has be FBC twincam.. It would not surprise me if the M8 maps are a little rich..
You can ask Thunderheart for the advanced user feature and you'll get advanced editing features that will allow you to shift the AFR/Head temp map easily. You can then shift the whole map up (lean) or down (richen) by using hot keys. You can also open multiple maps at one time..

I saw a video provided by Bosch and they state that their O2 sensors should last 100,000 mi.. As far as I have always known Bosch was the go-to for O2 sensors.. Actually just had to order a new 4.2 for my Wego III.. The other night in some really cold temperatures, 29°, I'm not sure or not but my AFR gauge was bouncing from 13.6 to 14.8 rapidly... I think it had to do with the real cold temperatures.. I'm not used to seeing that and will be taking it for a ride today see what happens.. It's a little warmer... Supposed to be near 60 today..
