Default Pv 4

Question for those with the knowledge. Can the “new” PV4 be used for dyno tuning.

Seems similar to the FP4 unit. Is the basic difference between the PV3 and PV4 using a personal device as the interface?

TIA

I just got the PV4.
My understanding is that when you buy the device you acquire the software licence and the licence is what gets you on the dyno at a tuner shop. That and paying the shop for the time and labour.

Yes. The software is not exactly the same as previous PV models but it can be tuned. I just had a bike tuned that uses a PV4. My tuner pulled the license from the PV4 then used his PV1 to tune it, so that's also an option if it makes whoever's tuning the bike more comfortable.
