I've got a 2016 street glide with a really odd problem. When the bike is warm and I accelerate from a stop; the bike tries to stall. I get black smoke out of the exhaust.

Cleaned the map sensor and throttle body, new plugs, air filter and so on. Bike isn't throwing any codes.

I've checked the forums and it seems to be a pretty broad issue. I will try and check the throttle body seals tonight.

Looking for any advice on what else it could be.

 

test your fuel pressure. and report back.

could be the engine temp sensor. i don't think they throw a code..at least mine didn't. its a cheap part and easy to replace. be careful with those thin wires tho.
