New T-Max map, new exhaust, better mileage!
I switched from running Rinehart True Duals and base map 393 to running a V&H Pro-Pipe and base map 391. The mileage with 393 sucked for me and I ended up leaning it out in the cruise range to 14.2:1 just to achieve an average of 40 mpg.
Here's the kicker, with an unmodified 391 map (target AFR appears to be around 13.5:1), I just got 42 mpg on the first tankful. I have no idea why, but I like it!

RE: New T-Max map, new exhaust, better mileage!
i'm running 391 with d&d 2 into1 on a 07 streetbob, my best was 43mpg on a slow ride with a large group. now i'm getting around 35 with the hammer down. i'm also getting a lot of popping and some backfire on decel. i've got over a 1000miles on the t-max and the decel hasn't gotten any better. it runs good on the throttle, but for a self tuned ignition i expected more. still waiting for the firmware when zipper's releases it.

Stro1965 any clearance issues w/02 on the propipe ? I read on the true duals you have to bend the bung a little and also do you notice a lot more heat w/the 2into1? Thanks in advance
