I have a pro street tuner installed on my ‘23 FXBR. The first time I connected to the BCI with my phone it updated the firmware. Since then I can’t connect to it. I get Pairing Failed, Unpairing required! BCI is paired to a different mobile. I’ve run the unpair sequence. Tuner is blinking at 1 second intervals indicating it’s ready to pair. Still same error. Haven’t been able to find any other information on this so figured I’d reach out to everyone here. Any ideas?

 

With tuner plugged in. Turn swith on and within 5 sec twist throttle from idle to full throttle 3-4 times. Module will blink rapidly and unpair

 

Same issue here. Have tried the unpairing procedure. Did you ever get this to work?

Same. Harley told me try several times....didnt work. Uninstalled app,pulled fuse,uninstalled tuner, still wont work. I dont know what else to do. Did you ever solve it?

I did get it to work! So turns out I was just limp wristing the throttle with my twist. I got pissed off and wrenched it hard 3 times all the way to the stop and boom it reset.

 

I had the canned stage one tune installed by my dealer at the 1000 mile service and had the same problem. Yanked the throttle hard and fast three times and saw the module blink fast a few times which indicated it had reset. Everything worked fine after that.

I also saw a video that said if the module disconnects while doing an auto tune run disconnect the bluetooth of your phone from the GTS head unit. The guy said doing so fixed the disconnects for him.

Edit: Just found this video from Harley that said to yank the throttle open and closed five times quickly.
