Default Throttle loss at 6000RPMs

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, so if it’s not I apologize. I have a 2020 Street Bob, last Wednesday I put a Cobra exhaust and a K&N intake as well as a fuel moto tune on it. Bike runs great. But today while out riding, I noticed anytime I hit 6000 RPMs I immediately lose all throttle and the bike rapidly decelerates but I can keep accelerating up to 6000 as many times as I want. Otherwise the bike runs and shifts great. I was hoping someone could shed some light on what could be the issue! Thanks in advance

Your Rev Limiter is working then apparently.

Now correct me if I’m wrong, but the tune should remove the rev limiter no? I took it out Thursday and had it at 6700 RPMs with no issues

The tune (Fuel Moto's Micro Tune?) can be programmed by FM to match the bike's set up.

I can't imagine them allowing a basically stock motor to spin to 6700 rpm's so no, I doubt that they 'removed' the limiter.

Call Fuel Moto and confirm your concerns.

You can check but I think the tune sets it at 6.200 or 6,400. Not hard to judge that as 6,000 when you running a gear out like that.
You are past your power band at that point anyway. Shift the darn thing a bit sooner.
