Perhaps a bad relay , check prongs for corrosion , could have made it's way inside the relay , causing overheating and shutdown . Cheap enough to replace and see if that solves the issue .
Also check the bike for codes , might also help pinpoint the issue .

My only guess then , would be a poor or broken connection at one of the connectors , or possibly a break in the wiring . I would inspect the connector at the tps and wiring carefully . Check the tps connector for broken pins etc , clean with electrical contact cleaner , add a bit of dielectric grease , then clear your code and go from there .
