Default No power to coil

Why would my system relay come on then click off in a few seconds?

Perhaps a bad relay , check prongs for corrosion , could have made it's way inside the relay , causing overheating and shutdown . Cheap enough to replace and see if that solves the issue .

Also check the bike for codes , might also help pinpoint the issue .

Hope it's an easy fix !

My only guess then , would be a poor or broken connection at one of the connectors , or possibly a break in the wiring . I would inspect the connector at the tps and wiring carefully . Check the tps connector for broken pins etc , clean with electrical contact cleaner , add a bit of dielectric grease , then clear your code and go from there .

Hopefully , someone with more experience will chime in and give more input into your issue .

No idea what year or model bike you have
As for relay, some years you can swap with lights relay. Look at parts diagram to see if same number.
As for coil. bad connector, wire, or not being told to fire.

No clue in the world what bike you have, FI or carbed.
