OK, new update. Changed out the stock black injectors to the red and went through the process on volt settings for TPS and cold idle sensor. so far bikes starts and idles good but too cold to take for test ride as we still have some snow and ice to deal with. Another question: would the v-settings still be the same [.275 and .650] for a stage 2 set up? which I've discovered I have. Wayne

Since the red injectors a larger than the black one the tune will be unnecessarily rich until it gets re-tuned properly for the larger injectors.
Your model bike is well known for engine temps sensors going bad which causes all kinds of poor running issues because the ECM is being told wrong temperature readings which change the fueling.
Hope you find this info valuable to saving you unnecessary work and money.

By the way, I did venture out yesterday and drove 3 miles. ran fairly well except for some backfire on deceleration. Before that I could only go maybe a mile and it would bog down, backfire, and only on very little throttle, limp it back home. I'm onto something here. Pulled the plugs that the shop installed, and they are gapped at 32. They replaced my Harley plugs for NGK's. I re-gapped them at 40 and will test that hopefully today. I put the red injectors in because they were in the original throttle body that came on the bike. The replacement throttle body came with black, and I did not know the difference as this is my 1st experiance with EFI systems. So, I now believe bike had a stage 2 kit done that I was not aware of. Thank you all again!! Not ready to give up the ship! Wayne

OK. Thanks again for the help. Went on test run and back firing was very minimal and never bogged down. Ran for several miles. Switching the injectors seemed to take care of most of my problems along with corrected plug gap. Went ahead and changed out the TPS and retest rode, that really smoothed out the running with no more backfire. Wayne
