Hello, new here my name is Henrique.

Recently picked up an 12 xr1200x. Rides good. Had an intermittent oscillate spark problem at the rear cylinder. Bike would only lose spark sometimes, and started losing it more frequent to where I won’t ride it anywhere as I don’t wanna get stuck. When the bike is running, the little orange led is on. A friend mechanic tested na ECM from an 883r, it worked fine.



Does this happen frequently to XR1200X?

Is it safe to say my ignition module is toast? Needing a second opinion before I buy one.



If so, which ones are compatible with my bike?

 

The ECMs are fairly generic and require the setup for the bike it's installed in to be downloaded to it by a HD tech and his digital tech box.
