It seems people equate efficiency and good mpg with with bad performance. I want to make the most out of every drop of fuel that enters the combustion chamber, what's the sense in wasting it, you don't pull a half burned log out of a fire and throw it away

As far as the original question, seems like a very bad idea, run a log, collect data and see where your map is coming up short, make the correct adjustments for your engine combination
