bigger injectors??

Default bigger injectors??

04 heritage 88 FLSTCI,,,k&n, SE 204 cams, rinehart shotgun shorts,,,,, got a miss. in the rear cyl only at, coast throttle ,or idle,, yes i have tested and replaced everything except injectors,, i was just given some new injectors but they are one step bigger then stock,,, There is no id # on these new injectors but they have the blue band on them,,instead of the stock brown band,,,,,will these help with my extra lean fuel system,,, or make it run like the chock is on...

hd did make some changes to the pintle spray angle but to answer your question, lager injector probably will not help unless the old ones have issues. it is the computer that controls the mixture, the injector is stupid, can only do what it is told to do.
that said, injectors do need to be within a window that the computer can use effectively as they affect dwell time. over all range is between 40 to 80 % dwell. too long contributes to heat and too short contributes to a bad pattern which can effect mixture.
fly it and watch it as they say!

I's try and find some white band take outs. They are the same as the brown band injectors, Except they have a 25 degree spray pattern. This was to help starting according to the SB.

seems the blue band is smaller g/s then the stock brown bands,, so i just ran some sea foam through the injectors,, hope it helps

yes,,, i have tried this many times with quickstart,,,,,,,,, no changes
i was thinking. ,, being an 04,,, with very low km on it,,,it must have sat for a long time,, leaving dried up fuel in the injectors,,, plugging them up..
also on cold start theres a big shotgun bang,,, thinking a drippy injector,,,,over night
,,
