Update
Finally got it to the dealer- they diagnosed it as a bad clutch switch. The cruise control went out , also. Parts on order.

It wasn't the clutch switch or the speedometer as a second trip to the dealer diagnosed.
I loaded the newest version of the tune (rev E, I think).
Everything came back.
Apparently the previous program was corrupted.
So much for the dealer diagnoses.
