I have a friend I am trying to help out but I am having issues diagnosing this bike. Ok so the bike was bought a year ago from a widower it was garaged since new my friend got it with only 200 miles on it so it was running fine he turned onto back country road and it started getting sluggish and had to give it more gas and more untill it wouldn't go any more and died and now won't start still does anyone have any options I should test.when my friend got the bike he changed all fluids

 

When you say it won't start, does the starter motor crank but doesn't fire, or does the starter not spin the motor at all?
First guess is the weak link, which is the battery. Charge it up and get it load tested. Your local auto parts store will do it.
It's also possible that you have old gas in the tank. Drain it out, put in fresh gas along with a cleaner like Techron or Seafoam.
