Default After tune higher idle

Hey guys, got my power vision tuner from fuel moto. Uploaded the new tune ... pretty slick even a monkey could do it. Anyway, my idle after warm up is about 950-970 ... about 100 rpms higher than stock. Sound about right? Not sure what fuel moto sets the idle on their maps.

Yes. Keeps that oil flowing better. My new tune is likewise.

Apparently the PowerVision will not set the idle below 950 rpm, no matter what number you put in there. Presume DJ think you need better oil flow too

I have an FP3 tuner installed on my 2018 Heritage. I decided to up the idle 100 rpm to increase oil flow and charge the battery a bit better.

My PV allowed me to set 850.

My '18 was at 850 from the dealer, and the PV made it 950, so I set it back to 850 and contacted Fuel Moto because I also replaced my oil pump. They still recommended no less than 900 for oil pressure, regardless of upgrading the oil pump. They don't test oil pressure at lower idle (particularly with different pumps), so they only recommend >900.
I'll stick with >900 unless there's some verified testing of an oil pump that guarantees good pressure at rumpity-bumpity potato-potato idle speeds.

The right cam will sound plenty good at the recommended 950 RPM.

Aye, mine does too ...but that's not what it ends up idling at, have a look at your logs
