Not that I've been able to see. It only modifies the injector duration and spark timing signals so unless you want to get pretty creative with those (which I don't recommend) you'll have to investigate the underlying cause and remedy it.

Did you set the throttle limits when the engine is up to temperature?

The computer works hard to keep the idle at 1050 via the IAC motor.
Turning screws trying to get your bike to lope will mess up your throttle body calibrations, and regardless
of what you do to tuning,, PC or SERT, the computer will still target 1050

It's entirely possible to adjust the idle speed. SERT will do it, but that's a rather expensive proposition for just the one effect. I'd bet the dealer could do it with their computer interface but also that they wouldn't. Also, the replacement ECUs (TMAX and DTT) no doubt can do it. It's just that any of the piggy-back units don't "go there" with their adjustments.

Not true. With the SERT it is a simple matter to change the idle RPM to whatever you want. It is a single table. You canchange the idle RPM cell values across the range of engine temperatures.

The only way you can change the idle speed with a PC-III would be to either give it so much fuel it barely runs or maybe to take so much away it gets hot enough to make the bike's ECU lower the speed in an attempt to cool it some.

The PC-III does not control anything except fuel and timing amounts.

Lowering idles below stock is IMHO not a good idea.

This will have an effect on the oil pump output, and especially when idleing in heavy traffic with with oil already thinned by heat, the last thing you need is less oil flow.

From what I've learned you dont really want to mess with the idle as if you lower it below the 1050 mark the oil will not flow properly in your motor. I like the low idle sound too but not if it means killing my motor[sm=badidea.gif]
