I have a 2013 Road king 103 with a SE 110 kit. SE255 cams and a Screamin eagle super tuner pro(the orange one). My question is how to use the software to add more fuel or reduce ignition timing at the right moment to get rid of the ping.
I noticnotice it when ascending a hill in 5th gear usually at around 60mph and 1/4 throttle. I don't have a tachometer so i don't know what rpm. I will admit that I am a short shifter. I like the low end torque this bike has. I have done one smart tune so far. And I set it up to record this morning for my ride to work and back.

 

So the 2nd smart tune made a big difference. The ping is almost gone and the engine makes less mechanical noise.
