On my 2013 103b timing starts at about 21° advanced and increases to about 44° at higher rpms. If you have a tuner pull the tune and look at your timing tables, they will be a difference between front and rear cylinders.

I'm assuming a stock 103B? I believe 22° - 24°dle, 35° max WOT. Maybe 36°. Yours may like a little more/less tho.

While that might be good for 15-20 kpa, I doubt it's for 100 kpa.

Agreed, I had to set mine back ah higher Kpa's because in data logging I saw spark knock detected and the ecm dialed back the timing a couple of degrees.. Everything is based on load and throttle position..

In for the sub on this one!

Been doing some timing tuning on my TC88 and I'm trying to figure out where it's happy, safe, and still feels good when twisting the throttle. I've got a Tmax which allows for easy adjustments but working my way up slowly, and from the lower RPM/throttle settings first, so as not to (hopefully) have any issues. A LOT of varied information on the web, so I'm quite interested in what the brain trust has to say pertinent to the OP's question.

Thanks for asking it!

You really should start your own thread under a T-Max heading to get the proper assistance.. I never used one and am currently using a PV. And depending on engine mods would determine timing curve. Also that 34 tooth trans pulley can load the motor and lug so you'll have to be careful when setting the timing curve..

Agreed. Not my thread and different setup. But, can be a source for information to ponder and draw from. Just in for the knowledgeable banter.
