You're in California, do like I did and ride the **** out of it stock. When you're comfortable that the drivetrain doesn't have any issues (I put 5k on mine) then do your mods. If you're really concerned about the warranty I would recomend sticking with what the dealer has to offer, even if it takes a while.

So, right now, the only 2021 models in California that have approved tunes are Stage-2 for the Trikes and 107 Touring models. I just called Laidlaw's and San Diego (the biggest HD dealer in California) and got similar responses: "We kept hearing the end of the month... and that was every month. Now we're hearing (and this isn't official) not to expect 2021 tunes this year at all." And they both were angry as hell because they've got 2021 owners lined up to do Stage-4 and they can't sell or install the parts. They also made it clear that HD is not the issue... there's somebody in Sacramento sitting on these for some unknown reason and that's the holdup. With resale values of Harleys through the roof, it might be cheaper and less frustrating for 107 owners to trade up to a 114 model... or 114 to go CVO for that matter.
