Default Adjusting the Idle on Delphi EFI

I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I'm going to prove it and ask anyway. Once you complete all your performance mods to your '04 or greater Delphi EFI bike, e.g., A/C, Exhaust, PC or SERT, Cams, Headwork, etc., and then have it Dyno'd at your favorite shop, do you have to have the idle adjusted separately?? I've read in the "manual" that only H-D Dealers with a "Scanalizer" can properly adjust the idle speed on an EFI H-D? Doesn't having your bike Dyno tuned pretty much negate the need for this step or is there something I'm not getting?? I could fill-up a book on what I don't know about Fuel Injection.

You can adjust the idle with the SERT program....no need for the Digital Tech or scanalizer.

Doc 1...Thanks again. I see you work at an HD Dealership, I'm curious, approximately how much time is required to perform an "idle adjustment" or does it require a complete factory tune-up? Or, ...something more involved? I'm just looking for a ballpark of time to estimate how much $$$ I'll be looking at.

It takes them literally 2 sec once hooked up.

jmetro...Which means the Dealership will charge me at least .5 hours labor, I presume no material.
