PCIII problem - dtc?
I previously posted a question about a PCIII making my bike "chirp" when shutting down. Actually it's more complicated than that. Here's the deal.... when I installed the PCIII and started the bike I noticed the rear signal lights flashing together but they stopped and that hasn't happened again.
Now, when I turn the ignition, the system charges and the little "service engine" light in the speedometer comes on... just like it always did. After starting the bike, the trouble light goes out like it always did. This is where it gets wierd.... after about 15 seconds running, the light comes back on in the speedo. It only stays on for abot 15 seconds and then goes out for good. Very strange. I tried disconnecting the PCIII but it still does the same thing.
The bike runs GREAT but I am a little concerned. It is and '06 FLHR with slip-ons, Ness big sucker, PCIII and stock ECM.
Any ideas? Help!!!

RE: PCIII problem - dtc?
If its a newer bike, you can hold down the trip reset button when you turn on the bike, this is diag mode in the speedo, and you can scroll through the codes by using the trip button, one press moves through the menu, and hold selects, go through them all untill you find a code, and hold it down untill it says cleared. done.
if its older you need a scanalyzer or digital tech, so go to a dealer.
