Default Fuel Pump question...

I'm new here, so take it easy on me...I need to replace the in-tank fuel pump, regulator, check valve, etc. in a 2002 Road King FLHPI. I only seem to find replacement pumps/kits for FLHR. Is there a difference between the fuel tank innards of a Road King and Road King Police from 2002? Thank you in advance!

Should be the same , check Ronnie's for cross reference but didn't see the FLHPI in the list , part numbers match up on all others .

Going easy on yah , cause your from Arizona , most of my " older " friends go there to get away from the snow ....

Welcome to the forum . introduce yourself and throw in a pick of your King !

Thank you! No snow here now for sure! We are currently paying our dues for the glorious riding weather we have from October thru May ("Cain't be more than 115 out here" just in case you're a Blazing Saddles fan). Thanks for the link!

It should be the same part. Good luck with the replacement, I had to do it on my 03 Road King and it was a bitch getting the assembly out of the tank. That articulating arm that holds everything in is tricky to manipulate.

75127-02C and 61408-00A should cover everything inside your tank. I'd replace the top gasket (61402-02) & 10 screws (1311D) while there.

Thanks for the info! I ended up replacing everything with a Quantum kit that was for a Road King, (not Police). Everything worked with the exception of the new check valve which had a larger thread diameter than stock so replaced that with OEM. Yes, it was kind of a PITA to get the assembly back into the tank, but I've dealt with much worse! Have not road tested yet, but sitting in the garage idling everything seems to be great!

Hi all, I'm new here also and have the same issue...looking for Fuel Pump Assembly 75132-01D for my 2005 Screamin Eagle Fat Boy CVO. So far, 12 dealers contacted and no one has the whole assembly and the factory is not shipping due to COVID. l can find the fuel pump and seal, but not the whole assembly. Any suggestions? Weather is starting to cool in Florida and I'd like to get back on the road some day. Thanks!

I just checked Ronnies HD web site, in Pittsfield Mass., and it says they have that part number in stock. Give them a call 833-363-3633 Ext 22 in the morning to confirm and order.

Check the Quantum Systems website (highflowfuel.com). Lifetime guarantee on the pump (but I really don't want to do it again even if it is free the 2nd time!). Everything works great on my roadking, and the price was 1/3 of the OEM parts. In a perfect world, I would recommend OEM, but I got the parts in 2 days and was back on the road. Good luck!

I'll try that tomorrow. We found many of the shops showed they had them in stock, but didn't. Maybe the 13th call will be the charm. . Thank you.
