Make o2 eliminators Help
Anyone knows what resitors to use to make o2 eliminators for dyna 2014 with 4 pin connectors using PC 5? on nightrider.com said to use 1 mega ohm resistor between blue and gray wires, asume this is for 2 pin connector (older one) mine is heated 4 pin.
Hard to find ones and if found they cost like 50-60$ its crazy to spend so much for 7$ connector, i see on pic they have 2 resistors on each connector and front and rear have different part numbers also76423029-76423030

that is about the going resistance for O2's. matter of fact, in order to check one, your meter must have at least 1 meg/ohm resistance or you risk damaging the O2.
if you are using resistors, just insert from the rear of the connector that you have. you do not have to fool with the heater circuit. basically you are forcing the ecu to see high resistance so voltage drop stays in the rich range. there is a problem if the ecu expects to see a varying voltage, it will throw a code.
there is a circuit that you can use with the O2 that biases it middle of the road using a diode. a diode is a very stable and consistent voltage drop of around .5>.6 volts and allows the ecu to see voltage swings and still stays on the richer side.

bustert I going buy 2 blank connectors to do this, o2 sensors will be romoved and holes plugged, so i need to use 1 meg/ohm just across sensors and leaving heater connectors as is? so why do they using resistors across heater also?
