When replacing the ECM, as long as the VIN programmed to the ECM matches the one programmed to the original ECM, the speedo will still work.

Thank all you guys for the replies and info. Before the last week or two, I felt like forums were dying for my other hobbies. I’m glad to see they are alive and well here.
Im going to go the Thundermax route since I’ve dealt with the the dealership here and I’m just not ready to deal with them again.
That said, and I’ll ask the question in the correct forum later, are there any headers that have the 18mm bungs that I can still use the stock slip-ons? I’ve tried my hand at welding exhaust and I feel like that will be a whole other project in itself for me.

Hey got the same issue with my 13 slim have brought a blank ecm gotta get it programed by harley but they didnt have enough time apparently when i took it in there but problem is they didnt no where those wires go as my r broken to did u work out where and wat they r for no alarm on my bike
