Hey All

Bike won't start
Bile turns over but will not start .but not getting spark
Changed coil, plugs, wires, fuses are good, crank sensor
Traced coil back to ECM. There is a connection before the ECM like a coupling. it is the sample connection that is plugged into the ECM
New Ecm not available, purchased used online did not help new/used part could be bad
Not sure what I am missing

with the ignition on would I get 12v to coil. or is coil get power cycling when you hit start

Any thoughts

 

Are you saying it has a powercommander on it?

 

Yes it has a power commander when I turn ignition on before start get one bar green
I would have to see if that changes on crank

 

Take it off and see if it starts without it

 

Bypass commander no start

put inline spark checker no spark

swapped out used ECM that I just got did not start.

going to charge the battery overnight

Testing the battery should have been the first thing on the list. Second is pull trouble codes.

 

Battery was full
re charging after all the cranks.
I do not have a scanner for the bike.

Can you suggest . I will google search
