No need to connect anything to the battery.

Once you get your hands on your SERT the manual provides a fairly clear explanation of closed loop operation and the closed loop bias table. By maxing out the closed loop bias table you are in effect adding more fuel when the bike is operating in closed loop mode.

That SERT part number 32107-01G comes with the Rev. "J" CD. All the SERT's are the same, the only difference is the CD Rev. that comes with them. I bought the newest Rev. "J" CD for my SERT from Zanotti's for $14.50 a couple of months ago.
