I have a 2004 road glide and decided to remove the ignition switch so I can clean it up and put some new lube on it since it felt like it was sticking a bit. After removing the switch and doing what I had to do I put the switch back in and now the switch is locked in the lock position and my key is also stuck in facing 6 o’clock. I can move the key a bit but it will not allow me to go all the way to the slot to remove the key. Need some serious help please

 

im trying to wrap my mind around this and what exacty went wrong, i just dont see it, maybe im missing something...

can you post pics of what exactly youre talking about?

are you saying you pulled the cylinder out of the housing or the whole ignition off the steering head?
