39.2 over 12 tanks of both hiway and city and HARD riding!

 

Before TM AT i was getting 39 MPG with iam getting around 30-31 MPG. I need to adjust some ofatr\tps tables.

 

with 65 miles on mytmax/ d&d fatcat installi topped off 07 street bob and drove 130 miles topped off again andit took3gallons of 93 octane(over 43 mpg) to top off. my buddy and his 110lb. wife ridingon his 07 low riderused .33 less gas,this was mostly countryroads andhills driving at a moderate pace except for couple long straights i took advantage of, as we were with a large group and some were riding two up.

 

Just came back from a 400 mile trip up and over the cascade mountains and back after installing my TMAX, Ness big sucker stg 1 and Fat cat 2-1 on a '07 SG. I got 36 mpg. and that was 70-80 mph every chance I got.

 

went another 130 miles of some serious throttling and i used 3.6 gallons compared to 3 gallons in the same distance of tame riding.

 

1500 mile trip in 3 days with various speeds and altitudeswhile averaging ~40MPG with absolutely ZERO complaints! I am in LOVE with this TMax! ALL clatter is now gone from ALL rpm/throttle positions/speeds...........

 

I'm getting good (IMO) mileage w/the TMAT, but on the slab (70-85 mph) mpg is better when not using the cruise control...which seems odd to me. Anyone else noticed this?

BTW (more in line w/topic), 40-42 mpg whenusing cruise control, 45-47mpg w/manual throttle...

i do not have a tmax .....yet, on the fence as i have a hd race tuner on my 07 Fatboy. I only get 36 mpg all around which i think is poor.
i have V&H bigshots staggered and screamin' eagle air cleaner ( would like a ness big sucker)...

at any rate sorry to be off topic i would like to know if the tmax with auto tune for the most part has been an improvement in overall performance vs hd race tuner or other?

Anyone compare the tmax with vance and hines fuel pack or has anyone run the vance and hines fuel pack then gone to tmax???
