Recommended rev limits and shift points for TC and M8.
6200 for touring builds with torque cams.
6500 for light bike builds with mid-high HP cams.
Bob
PS - These are safety limits NOT shift points which should be approx 500 below rev limit.
So shifting at 5500 for touring bikes and 6000 for light bikes should be best for acceleration rates.

Ok, my bad. I should have given all the info. I knew better, thought it was a generic safe question.
'03 se road king, 103+.020", heavy breather, cr-575 cams Don D. Blueprint port, s&s powertune duals, Jones full boar slipons, tts mastertune/blue dongle. 107hp, 128 tq. When it was tuned, the tuner set rev limiter to 6400 rpms. I normally shift below 5k. Occasionally I go to 6k, but no more. Do I need to drop it down to 6200 ?
