I used an SESTP (orange) on my 2018 Softail (M8), I now have a '19 Road King 107. Will not this same tuner work on the 2019 ? Both have M8 107 motors . The tuner software has listed : 2018 Touring, Milwaukee-Eight 107, stage 1, A824SHT215 ? Any help would be great. Bob
No, it marries to a security key inside the ECM called the seed/key. You will be told it marries to the vin but that is incorrect. Each ECM has a different Seed/key so it will not transfer. You can have it reset by a guy in Canada or a guy in Australia if you want to unlink the key.
If you can take a tuner from one bike to the other, tuners be out of business.
only way to unlock tuners is having them hacked by someone.
very few people around that can do that, or know how, if it's even possible.
