I just recently purchased the Vance and Hines FuelPak for my bike. 2008 Ultra Classic... I am trying to find the best program. Does anyone have any input on this.

The bike is completely stock engine wise. Stock air filter and stock pipes. However, I have removed the baffles out of the pipes. Other than that completely stock.

I contacted V&H and tried their recommended map because there is not one for this setup. My bike ran fine until I changed to the map they recommended. Now it more like I only have 5 gears instead of 6. It's like I have no power at all in 6th gear. Open throttle I can only get up to about 85 in 6th.

Any information is highly appreciated.

How about contacting V&H again and tell them. They'll figure out if it's the tune or not.

 

Just flash back the stock map.

Follow the procedure for doing an autotune and see how that goes perhaps.
