49-State Fuel Pak on a California bike?
Hi! I just bought a low-mileage stock '04 Ultra Classic... Before doing the pipes and hi-flo air cleaner, can I install a 49-state Vance & Hines Fuel Pak on a California bike? Is there any difference between a California bike and the remaining bikes for the domestic market? Unless I missed it, I can't seem to find a Fuel Pak sold for the '04 Touring bikes in California although they have 49-state devices on the market. I know that a power commander is an option, too...
Thanks!

The big difference would be the Exhaust Pipes and Catalytic Converters, Air Cleaners and Engine Tuners. All need to be C.A.R.B compliant. Even though the products are marketed as "High-Flow", C.A.R.B compliant products would be more restrictive. I don't think C.A.R.B started working with the motorcycle industry until 2006 to certify parts, but all motorcycles 1979 and later need to be compliant.
