04 roadglide shakes fairing bad
04 tc88 roadglide , runs smooth (for a vtwin ) when cold started.
after it warms up the darned thing shakes bad at idle and smooths out above 2k.
been to two shops, one indie and one dealer. all said its fixed-----NOT
new plugs, new plug wires, checked fuel pump pressure, checked fairing mounts , replaced engine mounts ,added piggyback fuel control,
it acts like a miss, but I am about to give up.
this is my first "touring HD"
I own three other v-twins all the others( one is a B model the other two are not ) are frame mounted, and do not shake like this "rubber mounted one.
If this is a "touring bike Normal " then I am not impressed.
always wanted the "big -guy " now I am disappointed .
I have read every post about this I can find .
IS THERE A CURE?

No your bike isn't typical IMHO, you are probably the victim of a 14 year old bike with some hidden history. My TC88 certainly needed to be revved a little higher than my Evo when riding, so it is just possible you are running a little too low in the rev range. Other possibilities include a broken fairing bracket, something touching where it shouldn't, etc. I suggest you post in the Touring section, where you will find many more RG owners than in here.

As an example, if it has an aftermarket cam, to boost HP, it won't be happy running at low rpms. Unfortunately it is also too common for owners to modify bikes, with different airbox, mufflers, etc, and not adjust the engine tune properly to enable it to run 'just so'. Best of luck. Right will triumph in the end!

My suspect is you have not found a shop with the knowledge, tools, and experience to diagnose and fix your bike.
May be tuning, may be intake leak, may be something else..
A stock, well tuned, touring bike (88”-110”) will not shake like a dog passing razor blades. Yet, due to engine/drivetrain rubber mounting, will shake a bit at idle. If there is/are lose conditions in the fairing, exhaust, etc they all can magnify and set up bad idle vibes.
