Default another PCIII usb question

thanks for taking the time to look at this one. OK here's the deal

2004 fxdwgi, 26,500 miles, Vance and Hines BSS, S&S 510 g cams, SE breather, Stage one chip flash had been done when bike was new and rode like that untill the latest upgrades(cam) ...probably a little lean but OK..... dropped the cams in at 25,000. added the pc III from fuel moto a couple of hundred miles before the cams were installed. before the cams the bike ran pretty good with the map from Jamie. after the cams were dropped in I had the bike dynoed at an authorized dynojet location.

Performance wise the bike is at 82 ft lbs torque and 78 hp. bike ***** and gits when acclerating...but here is the annoying problem....

at 2000 rpm at low throttle postion after rolling off the throttle the bike sputters (this is not decel popping, but the bike is missing) , also holding the throttel constantat 2000 rpm in 1st, second and sometimes third gear it sputters and misses. If I drop the hammer or increase the throttle it does not miss a beat but accelerates hard from 2000 all the way through the rpm ranges. Havent been able to get back to the dyno operator. any suggestions I could try ...again I know the cam profile will make it lope a little bit at parking lot speed, and the cams are doing what I expected at acceration, its just that annoying missing at 2000 rpm and low throttle position

I would try putting 15's or 20's in the 0 throttle position from 1250 RPM up to 4,000 RPM. That is what I have in mine. It stops all popping and missing on decel. Try it. If it does not work take them back out. I always run 15's. Give it a try and let me know how it went. Also make sure that your 0 throttle position is not on 5 or something else. Must be on 0.

Jamie at Fuel Moto told me the popping issues are caused by leaks where the muffler connects the exhaust pipe. Some pipes don't provide a good seal, and this can be helped by using anti-sieze compound or high-heat sealer (copper, etc.). I would use anti-sieze since the sealer may make it hard to remove the muffler in the future.
