PC III hesitation off idle on 07 models
The new firmware is a hit!
For anyone who thought that there was a tuning problem - it wasn't. Installed the new firmware and now the problem is not present. Fully warmed up the bike, duplicated the hesitation. Uploaded the firmware and could not duplicate the hesitation at all. Not sure what was changed in it, but it solved the problem. DynoJet has restored my faith. This was on the 07 Street Glide, Rineharts and Big Sucker. Problem existed since January and could not be tuned out. Bike was run for 6000 miles with the issue.

You can get it on www.fuelmotousa.com and click on "dynojet technical info" on the menu. There is a link about halfway down the page.

I went to the Dynojet site and saw there are TWO firmware updates
One say FUEL Firmware update 2.1.2
and the other says IGNITION Firmware Update 2.1.2
do you need BOTH firmware updates?
Looks like Fuel Moto has 2.2.0 Hmm going to wait until Monday to Call Dynojet and find out which is the proper firmware and what it fixed (release notes)

spoke with Dynojet and there is a version 2.2.0 which is in BETA still. Looks like Fuel Moto has released it, but Dynojet has not officially released it on their website.
It does address the hesitation from idle only. The tech said he was not sure when the 2.2.0 would be put up on the Dynojet site.
the 2.1.2 firmware is the one for the Harleys now. the 2.1.2 Ignition is for sports bikes.

I applied this to correct my pinging problem (recommended by DJ). It did NOT correct the problem. The new firmware is not compatible with the Accelerator Pump utility. The utility will not see the PCIII. If you have it turned on prior to installing 2.2.0 it still is still activated in the PCIII. But to turn it on or off you must reload the 2.1.2 firmware, toggle the Accel Pump and then reload the 2.2.0 firmware.
