RE: Hands free 'Smart' key fob alarm - help plz!
I hope you guys get this straightened out on you own...but...
I bought the "Smart" Security System for my bike this past spring and tried to install it myself and ran into the same run-a-round. I could not marry the FOB(the one without the buttons)to the system. I was told by the dealer and by the folks in there that the 07's had to be taken to the dealer and they had to use a "Digital Technician" to marry them. The digital technician is supposedly a device that the dealers have to connect to the computer on your bike and enter the code from your FOB. It cost me about $20 and 20 minutes at the dealer. You have to tell them that you already have the system installed and all that needs to be done is marry the FOB.
If you can find instructions that can marry the FOB manually PLEASE SHARE THEM! I'll be helping a buddy install his security system in a month or so.
Good Luck!!!

I carry them both, the pager and the FOB. Once I leave the vacinity of the bike the pager will alert me if anyone disturbs the bike, as long as I am with in a half mile of the bike.
I married the pager to the bike but after the dealermarried the FOB.

That's a damn fine looking Ultra you've got there.
My Dyna is my only form of transport and when I go eat, study, sleep...I need to know if some jerk is risking his/her life by touching my bike.
I got the hands free fob so I don't have to fumble with the key, then the fob.
The pager as I understand it, can only receive information from the alarm system. The button on the pager is simply to turn the pager on and off; nothing to do with disarming or arming the alarm.
Will advise when I get instructions from Drexor.
Cheers,
Mike

Thanks! Although she isn't my only form of transportation, I don't want any unauthorized hands or butts on her, especially away from home. That's when she is my only form of transport!
You are right, the button on the pager is only for on/off/mode purposes, and not for arming/disarming.
The system seems to be a good system. I like it when I pull into a stop get off the bike, turn it off, and just when people start to think, "Hey, nice bike let's go over and touch it," CHIRP-CHIRP. "Oh, it has an alarm, let's just look." The security system is definately piece of mind.

Drexor, my wife just emailed to tell me the instructions were in (she left early yesterday), looking forward to getting my hands on them this afternoon when she gets home (hands on her, too!). Thank you for sending them, much appreciated!
