Hello everyone.
My Thundermax came pre-mapped from Zippers with map #384 and I now see they have a updated map for my configuration. The bike run's great but I'd like to give this new map a try. Can someone tell me the procedure to upgrade this new map to my ECM, thx in advance, Rich A

Here is a copy and paste from (V)twinforums on how to "start over" and reprogram from scratch.
If you are re-programming, Zippers recommends the following:
1. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes. From the Tuning Tree, click [Module
Configuration] [Diagnostic Codes] [Clear Diagnostic Codes].
2. Clear learned fuel and IAC adjustments. From the toolbar, click [Map Editing] [Clear “Learned Fuel Adjustments (CLP Offset”] [ Clear “Learned Idle Control Adjustments (IAC)”]
3. Reload the Module Firmware. (Do this if you have any question whether you have the latest firmware in your module.) From the toolbar, click [Configure] [Firmware] [Upgrade Module Firmware Now] (follow prompts exactly).
4. Reload (or in your case load) a best-match map. You have the one picked that you want to use but otherwise - Update your module base maps library by clicking from the toolbar [EFI Maps] [EFI Map Listings / Definitions] [Update Definition File]. Follow steps 3-6 in the Installation / Setup Guide V2007.05.31 to load a new base map (available from http://www.thunder-max.com/Support/I...onManuals.aspx if you don’t have your original version).
5. Confirm Module Settings for the speedometer calibration ([Module Configuration] [Basic Settings] [Write Basic Settings] from the Tuning Tree) and AutoTune settings from the toolbar [Configure] [Closed Loop Module Settings]. Ensure that all four boxes are checked in the [Closed Loop Processing] and [AutoTune] commands (follow step 7 in the Installation / Setup Guide V2007.05.31).
6. Initialize the ThunderMax system. (Do not start the bike or move the throttle during the process. The IAC will find its home position.)
7. Set Smartlink to monitor engine gauges. Start the bike and allow to idle. This step should be done on a cold bike and the bike should be allowed to warm up to 289 deg to let the IAC adjust through the full range. (Do not run IAC-Auto during this time unless you have reset the IAC stops and are re-doing an initial adjustment of the stops.)
8. Evaluate with a road test.
(If any of these processes are interrupted for any reason, start over at Step 1.)
Follow the instructions to the "T" and you will be just fine.

Let me also add that it has been suggested when setting up the Closed loop configuration that you change the Session Map percentage from default of 5% to 3% for a smoother learning curve.
Here is a pic of what I'm referrring to: Default is 5%, change it to 3% when setting up Closed Loop.

The initialize process is:
Turn on the bike (with the switch in run position) wait 30 seconds
Turn off the bike, wait 30 seconds
Turn on the bike (with the switch in run position) wait 30 seconds
Turn off the bike, wait 30 seconds
Turn on the bike (with the switch in run position) wait 30 seconds
Turn off the bike, wait 30 seconds
At no time during this process do you start the bike. Also, do not touch the throttle.
After this process is complete, follow step #7
