Default Ignitions and cam position sensors help

Hopefully someone can end my confusion. I have a 2000 EFI Electra Glide Classic that I am gathering parts to do a MM FI to carb conversion. I’ve trolled all the forums about the conversion but I’m confused as all get out when it comes to the ignition. So a 99 & 00 both have cam position sensors and 01 and up doesn’t. In the conversiion threads they talk about using the 01 or 02 ignition and wiring harness to bypass the cam position sensor. The 01-02 harness’s lack the cam sensor plug.

My buddy built up his carbed 2000 Electra glide and gave me his ignition module HD 32478-99. Now when I look that up it’s for 99-03 Carb. Touring, and Dayna. So the name ignition module is used over 5 years in bikes both with and without cam position sensors. If I utilize this ignition with an 01-02 harness can I bypass the cam sensor? Or do I need to use the 00 harness with the sensor?

im not going to use a fancy expensive aftermarket ignition as I’m not doing any other mods at the moment. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Call these guys - I know a few people who did it with their harnesses. Up and running - no issues.

I looked up the ignition module for an 02 and it shows a 32478-99A. Means the part can be different.
