Default Clarification TMX

Hi there,
maybe its there or its just my trying to hard to find it and having dolls eyes (open but can not see). Does the Basic configuration and the Base map I chose for my ECU run paralell, or does the Map take over from the Basic configuration, ie if I see my rev limiter and idle speed in the basic configuration and run map 393 will the map change the idle speed and rev limiter to suit the specs set in map 393.

Cheers Roodog

Yes, the map holds the basic settings. If you write a new map to the ECM, the basic settings will be overwritten with the settings from the map. If you change the basic settings before writing the the map, though, your changes will be written to the ECM. You can also save the map file with your basic settings changes.
