Default Deutch Ecvectrical connector [187]

I am installing a bluetooth adapter to my o7 utra. I went to purchase a service manual and the dealer is out. Ordered on online but it will probably be a week. I need to know where the deutsch eletrical connector 187 is located it is supposed to be and empty 8 pin coonection. I can not locate it under the front fairing. If anyone has a service manual with the location I would appreciate it. Thanks

You will not find it on the bike unless the bike has the Advanced Audio System Wiring Harness. You can find the harness here.

I do not have anything that looks like that in the fairing. So I have to purchase that item and then rewire the entire audio system. I have an ultra overlay harness? I guess. That is what the tag coming out of the CB reads. Thanks for the help

If you have the Overlay Harness (which is part number 70164-06) then the connector should be there. The Electrical Diagnostic Manual does not call out a location for 187B (A is the HFM side).

The pin out for 187Bis:

1 ++R
2 ++BK
3 [NC]
4 [NC]
5 R/O
6 BK/GN
7 Y/O
8 Y/V
