the easiest way is to cut the wires and put in the extensions, that way you keep the stock connectors on the end, and the wire color codes stay. staggering the solders is a good idea, and if you forget which wires go where in the connector, look at the other side of it still on the bike, the colors match up. PAY ATTENTION TO THE STRIPE COLOR ON THE WIRES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
