Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a Howards hog air horn set they look great on my 06 road king I at the point where its time to install the horn relay the instructions the manufacturer gives are vague. Is there anyone who has this set up and can shed some light?

It's been a couple of years but I don't remember them being vague.

One wire to the positive, one to the negative, and one to the button. At least that's what I remember.

 

Where is the wire for the horn button? where do you pick it up from?

 

It's going to be the positivewire attached to the horn. You have to extend it to the relay.

You've got a wire from the relay to the negative battery terminal, one to the positive terminal, one from the positive wire I just mentioned to the relay, and the fourth goes from the relay to the compressor positive. Then run a wire from the compressor negative to the battery negative post. Refer to the relay instructions for which one is which.

 

The confusion was inthe directions it said ti install the positive wire to the botton on relay , they meant to say bottom of relay so I was looking foe a button and there was none. the diagrahm then made sense, thanks
