The Compu-fire ignition was already installed on the bike when I got it. The original engine had a healthy setup. Ended up replacing that engine with another 80 and started building that one back up. Currently it's an 89 stroker with a W6 cam. I really can't find much about the HDE-2 ignition. Does anyone know much about these ignitions? Good, bad, whatever. It's always been a pretty hard starter when cold, regardless of engine configuration, but it has always pulled hard.
