After about an hour of cruising, shut her off...decided to turn her around, went to restart, dead ignition. Had lights, but nothing fron the ignition, not even a click. Checked all connections, ignition wires. Started her with the plunger on the starter motor, then shut her off and restarted her at the key, no problem. Can someone please explain what happened? Its a new ignition switch, been working fine. New Crane module, single fire, dual coil.

Check starter solenoid relay, unplug it and check the spades, clean and add a little die electric grease and reinstall.

My new Sportster did this a few times when it was new (hell it's still new). The battery cables were loose...at the battery.
