Bought this bike this year and spent all winter redoing it all. only have about 1000 miles on it this year and am getting an intermittent stalling while accelerating. Bike will buck and RPM's will drop with each misfire. I have rebuilt the carb twice and and continue to have problem. Gas flow is good and no longer any rust in tank (something I did over the winter). Has screaming Eagle 8000rpm ignition (my next suspect). Cant find any intake leaks. Any ideas would be appreciated.

When does the bike stall, like when your moving or starting from a died stop? What kind of carb is on the bike? Can you tell if it is ignition or carb causing the problem? I would all check the fuel line from the gas tank to the carb, the float level in the carb, and the accelerator pump to make sure it is working correctly.

 

It is the Stock Harley Carb. Mostly happens during acceleration. Took entire carb apart and cleaned thoroughly and still hace problem. I checked gas line and it is fine. Accelerator pump is good. Float lvl looks good also. Not sure if it is electrical or carb.
