TMAX What AFR for best cruise mpg
Finally got my software issues fixed and was able to get all the updates from the website. Tomorrow I'm going to download the map that Randy at TMAX suggested and get after my fine tuning. Question for you guys, what AFR do you use for mileage? I like to cruise at 80mph @ 2850rpm at a midpoint, so a AFR curve set for 2600rpm to 3200rpm would be the ting to do? Trying to get ahead of the learning curve, thanks-Charlie

RE: TMAX What AFR for best cruise mpg
Your info helped alot, the #393 map is just to rich. Started with 12.936 at 0% tps to 10% tps then went to 14.410 across to 40% tps and then sloped down to 12.5 at 50% across the board. Sure runs and sounds nice and smooth, have to ride a tank outa it to see what the mileage is, but I sure like the way it runs. Will refine my pages from there, the monitor mode with the laptop on board going down the road is neat, it showed me on playback where to make my changes. This module is going to make dealing with my new scoot a blast!

yep, nice way to do things compared to all the dyno time and stuff I had with the pcIII. Be interested in knowing how it affects your mileage at higher speeds. I travel the Oklahoma turnpikes most of the time at 75+ and it really made a difference for me.

I live here north of Sallisaw, so yes 75+ mileage is a concern for us! It was doing 38 with the stock ecm, thats with fullsac dual conversion and straight cut 1 3/4 wildpigs slipons. The stock ecm richened it up to a gray vs white color on the plugs. But a 2week vacation out thru Calif. concerned me about my AFR so here comes the TMax! Now that I have control I will be able to make the trip without worries, and with the new settings my mileage should be back up. Will let ya know, I head out June 9, back the 23rd. Charlie
