My Crane HI-4tc whent bad on me about two years ago, I kown it was bad because I put my stock
module on and it would run ok put the Crane on it would not fire a lick I swap them back and forth a couple of time and it would not run on the crane call the tech line and got autherization to send it back they had it about two weeks sent it back said there was no problem with it and they had ran it through
all there test and it passed , I put it back on bike started and has ran fine every since!!!!!!!
Just my 2 cents worth.

had good luck with Crane myself.

first nosecone singlefire Hi-4 module lasted 10yrs/50,000 miles. Was very happy with that longevity.

Last summer was having huge running issues.....rang their techline...got great troubleshooting advice....bought another. All is peachy again.

I did write this troubleshoot guide for a couple of guys in our club this side of the pond......applies to single-fire module on Evos and Shovels

hope this helps someone

We think my Crane Ignition has gone too, we were blaming the coil, until I saw this post.

Pity as the coil is £70 UK, and the Crane Ignition is nearer £200.

Did you stick with Crane or move onwards and upwards?

Send it to Daytona Twin Tec and get one of their modules, underseat or nosecone your choice

http://www.daytona-twintec.com/crane_warranty.html

I think they were offering a deal if you sent them your Crane ignition...

definitely worth looking into. far superior.
